Brianna Z. Kauer
Brianna Z. Kauer is a Behavior Analyst and Peer-Reviewed Trainer in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is the owner and director of Create Behavior Solutions, a company that supports parents to understand their unique child’s behavior, learn new skills, and build resilience. She is also the owner of Learn & ACT, which provides training and consultation for professionals.
Brianna has been providing ACT training for many years and has been an invited presenter at various conferences and training events. By working at the intersection of behavior analysis and ACT she aims to make these approaches more accessible and widely understood, fostering a more compassionate and scientific approach to supporting human behavior.
Brianna began working in the field of Behavior Analysis in 2003 and has provided direct service to hundreds of clients in various settings. Before earning a Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis, Brianna earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Dance and spent many years training and performing as a professional dancer. She lives in the Madison, Wisconsin area with her 3 kids and partner. She values spending time with loved ones and dancing, practicing yoga, rock climbing, gardening, cooking and writing.
Education and Certifications
As a certified behavior analyst with over two decades of experience, Brianna has had the privilege of working in various capacities to promote positive behavioral change. Her educational background is rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA), with advanced degrees from St. Cloud State University and the University of Minnesota. She is proud to hold a certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Throughout her career, she has been honored to speak at prominent events and conferences, sharing her expertise on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other evidence-based approaches. She has also had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned professionals in the field, including Steve Hayes.
In addition to her clinical work, she is committed to training and education. She has developed online courses and training programs, and she regularly presents at conferences and workshops. Her goal is to empower behavior analysts and other professionals to effectively integrate ACT into their practice.
As a seasoned practitioner, she brings a wealth of experience to her work as an ACT Peer Review Trainer, Adaptive Parenting Online Course content creator, and owner/director of two successful organizations: Create Behavior Solutions and Learn & ACT. Her commitment to ongoing education and professional development continues with her clinical ABA services, working closely with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that promote lasting behavioral change.
