Learn & ACT

Services

At Learn & ACT, we offer a range of professional development services designed to enhance the skills of mental health and healthcare professionals. Our CEU courses provide evidence-based strategies and practical tools to help clinicians apply Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles in their practice, improving client outcomes and fostering psychological flexibility.

Our consultation groups provide a collaborative space for professionals to engage in real-world case discussions, share insights, and earn CEUs in a supportive environment.

Whether you are looking to deepen your ACT knowledge or benefit from peer-driven learning, our services offer valuable opportunities for growth and professional development.

CEU Courses

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an evidence-based approach that combines mindfulness, acceptance, and values-based action to promote psychological flexibility. ACT CEU courses provide mental health professionals with practical tools and theoretical knowledge to enhance their clinical skills while earning required continuing education credits.

What ACT CEU Courses Cover

Our courses explore ACT’s six core processes: cognitive defusion, acceptance, mindfulness, observing the self, values clarification, and committed action. Participants learn to help their clients apply ACT techniques to address behavior-change strategies that consider the whole person.

By incorporating ACT into their practice, clinicians not only fulfill their CEU requirements but also contribute to more impactful and lasting change in their clients’ lives.

Please note: CEUs are for Behavior Analysts – other professionals can’t earn CEU credit through these courses.

Consultation Groups

Our consultation groups are designed to offer professionals a space for active, peer-driven learning where they can refine their skills, receive direct feedback, and improve their application of ACT in practice. These groups focus on real-world implementation and problem-solving in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Consultation Group Options

We offer both 1:1 and group consultation formats, tailored to meet your specific needs. These sessions are designed for practitioners who already have a foundational understanding of ACT and are looking to enhance their skills through guided practice.

Benefits of Consultation Groups

  • Real-World Case Discussions: Engage in discussions about actual challenges in your practice, whether clinical or ethical.
  • Peer Collaboration: Gain insights from professionals in similar fields, enhancing your approach to client care.
  • Targeted Learning: Address specific issues relevant to your discipline, whether in therapy or healthcare.
  • Skill Implementation: Practice applying ACT techniques with feedback to strengthen your clinical effectiveness.

Parenting comes with unique challenges, and many families struggle with meltdowns, emotional regulation, defiance, and communication breakdowns. Whether it’s handling intense emotions, navigating school-related difficulties, or feeling overwhelmed by daily struggles, it’s easy to feel stuck and unsure of the best way to support your child. Traditional discipline methods often fall short, leaving parents frustrated and exhausted.

But parenting doesn’t have to feel like a constant battle. With the right tools and strategies, you can build a stronger connection with your child, reduce daily stress, and foster long-term growth. Our approach focuses on practical, effective solutions that help you feel more confident in handling tough moments while creating a more positive, peaceful home environment.
